
Special War Operation
Hotkeys:
1 / 2 / 3 for cards 1, 2, and 3 respectively.
SPACE for pause.
This is my first finished game made with Raylib. Before this, I only used it as a convenient renderer or for some basic simulations.
I did my best with the game design to make it semi-fun, but my main goal here was just to see if I could build a 3D game in Raylib and play around with shaders. Unfortunately, I didn't quite have the stamina for bone animations—couldn't really figure them out in Raylib.
The water shader idea was inspired by Sebastian Lague.
Huge thanks to Ric Levis for all the art.
SFX are by KenneyNL.

I really like the artstyle (I can't even imagine how you implemented that water shader). Also very addicting game.

I stole the idea from Sebastian Lague from this video (link with timecode), but simplify it a lot.
The only things I changed - instead of "depth map" I just used radial gradient from the island center and colorize itas gradient between 3 colors and I didn't add normal maps. And I did remove glare, cuz it was looked strange in my toon shaded game.
I also tried to recreate this shader from roystan, but didn't like the result.

Just in case you struggling to win - planes and rocketeers are OP + espessially with tank merge
